It's a little more than two weeks away, but it's never too early to plan for Super Bowl Sunday! I've rounded up some crowd-pleasing recipes from around CafeMom and am also sharing my go-to recipe for guacamole, which is always a big hit at parties.
What are you serving on Super Bowl Sunday?
Guacamole
6 avocados
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lime
1.5 cups onion, chopped
4 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne
3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
Halve and pit avocados, squeeze half of lime over top and mash. Stir in spices. Add tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. Squeeze remaining lime in and mix all together.

I will for sure check these out! How awesome! I may even try the guacamole. I will not eat it myself but I will make it for others. Everyone loves it and I have always wanted to try it!
You always have such great ideas and recipes! Thanks!
Ok... now I havae something to make my avacados into.... I love this! Just did not know how to make it so I would just put it on salads...lol, lol
Thanks for the ideas. I may have to pick up some avacados this week at the store. That and some kidney beans for chili. I've been meaning to make some chili and keep forgetting. That will go great while I'm watching the Eagles win their first superbowl and working.
it sounds easy to me. I can do it and eat it plain( till i throw up.. jk).
Chili and guac and nachos, for sure. I am not a football fan, but I like that I get to eat yummy (sometimes junky) food on Superbowl.
