Amazon Is Now Offering Free Same-Day Delivery for Prime Members

We blinked, and now suddenly it's halfway through December. It's already Hanukkah, and Christmas is a mere 10 days away. I would put good money on the bet that you don't have your holiday shopping list completed yet. Have no fear, because Amazon just announced that it's doing free same-day delivery in more than 8,000 markets for Prime members.

So in places such as New York, Texas, California, Florida, and more, you have until 9:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve to order gifts and they'll get to you before Christmas. (Same-day delivery means that the item arrives between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. the day the order's confirmed.)

Let's all breathe a sigh of relief together.

For non-Prime members, it'll run you $8.99 (and $0.99 for each additional item) for same-day delivery.

For your order to qualify for this same-day delivery offer, your total must be over $35 -- although, we doubt that'll be hard to do since there are over 100 million items eligible.

Amazon claimed that last year, the latest order fulfilled was made at 10:23 a.m., so maybe you can risk it for the biscuit and sleep in?

Regardless, Amazon just continues to prove that it's the real savior of the holiday season.
