This Is Not a Drill: Girl Scout Cookie Cereal Is Now Something That Exists

If you are, like many of us, someone who maybe at some point in her life ate Thin Mints for breakfast, there's hope -- it'll soon be even more PC to feast on the delicious flavors of chocolate and mint at the breakfast table.

The Girl Scouts are selling cereals based on their beloved cookie line. Faster than flapjacks and more exciting than eggs, these cereals will definitely get kids to the table to eat what's long been called the most important meal of the day.

But before you get out the bowls and spoons, a General Mills spokesperson told Buzzfeed that the whole grain corn cereal won't be released until January of next year. A huge bummer, yes, but it's really only a little more than two months away, giving us ample time to clear tons of space in the pantry.

If it sounds a little too indulgent for the early morning hours, make it a late-night snack. These cereals may just become your binge-watching staple.

But you'll need to stock up, because as the boxes caution, they're limited editions. In other words, your cereal may need its own shopping cart.
