'Gilmore Girls' New Season Just Got More Exciting Thanks to Ice Cream (Of Course)

If you've been fantasizing about cozying up under a blanket with a pint of ice cream and binge-watching Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life during Thanksgiving weekend, here's the perfect chance to combine those guilty pleasures. New York–based ice cream purveyor Ample Hills is hosting a contest encouraging GG fans to come up with their own Stars Hollow–inspired flavor.

What could be more delicious than that? (Except for Sookie's Cajun Eggs Benedict served with a cup of Luke's coffee, of course.)

GImore girls ice cream flavor

As you'd imagine, clever fans have been quick to come up with some decadent-sounding flavors that would send Lorelai and Rory running to Doose's Market.

Here are a few of our faves:

The Paul Anka -- Coffee ice cream with movie theater candies and peanut butter swirl

Town Troubadour -- Salted dark chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce.

The Sookie Special -- Strawberry ice cream with chunks of sugar cookie dough.

Hep Alien -- Lemon ice cream with marshmallow creme.

Oy, With the Nougat Already -- Coffee ice cream, fudge swirls, nougat chunks

First, pop-up versions of Luke's Diner emerged, and now this. Are Dragonfly Inns next? If so, we're in -- or is it Inn?
