Valentine's Cocktails Just Begging for the 'Heart Eyes' Emoji

On Valentine's weekend, maybe you're single and livin' it up; maybe you're ditching your kids and kicking back with your longtime partner; or perhaps you're on a date with a new person and trying to trick your brain into believing he or she is hot. But no matter your situation, one thing is already decided: On Valentine's Day, we drink.

Since it's such a special occasion, you can't drink any old thing -- this is the time to get fancy with nice liquors and pretty red colors. If you're stumped for ideas, we've got your back: These two cocktails will impress whomever you choose to bring home on Valentine's, we swear.

  • ½ part lemon juice
  • Ginger beer (chilled) to fill

Directions: Combine lemon juice, pomegranate juice, and bourbon in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for a minute then pour over ice in a Collins glass and top off with ginger beer; garnish with lime wheels (optional).
