crockpot chicken soupAutumn is the perfect time for a warm bowl of soup, and you don't need a ton of time to prepare this Lazy Mom special. Crock-Pot Chicken Corn Soup is packed full of colorful carrots and golden corn kernels, giving this dish plenty of texture and flavor.

"One of our favorite fall comfort foods is chicken corn soup," says Sarah of How I Pinch a Penny, who created this rustic recipe. "Oh the layers of flavor! The tender chicken, the homemade broth, the al dente carrots, and the noodles to make your belly feel full."

If you don't have homemade broth on hand, you can always use canned. Drop it all in your slow cooker and set it and forget it! (Plus, this is a great recipe to have in your arsenal as we enter cold and flu season.)
