Mom Making Lunch Opens Can of Tuna to Find Disturbing Thing Looking Back at Her (PHOTO)

You know those people, right, the ones who complain that their white tuna is gray, so they write to the company demanding a lifetime supply of coupons -- or, at the very least, a refund?

Well, Zoe Butler, a 28-year-old mom from the United Kingdom, has every right to cry foul after finding something seriously disturbing in her can of Princes tuna last week.

After opening up the can, Butler told The Nottingham Post she thought she was looking at a "sea creature" -- who, it turns out, was looking back at her! She explains:

I opened the top of the lid and saw a purple-y thing, a gut sack or intestine -- then I turned it round and pushed it with a fork and saw it looking back at me ... It's got like a spiny tail along the bottom.

OMG! Gross! Like any mom would do, Butler screamed in horror and then immediately notified the company, which responded with a quick apology.

Still, ugh, what if this mom hadn't seen it? Can you imagine if she'd come downstairs bleary-eyed and packed lunches for her family with this tuna, never realizing it contains what appears to be some type of crab

It's hard enough to get kids to try new things (at least in my house), this could turn them off tuna for life.

Butler says she's not seeking any form of payment or a lifetime supply of tuna -- geez, who could blame her? Would you ever eat tuna again if you were this woman?

"I just want to find out what it is and to make sure it doesn't happen to somebody else," she says.

Have you ever found any creepy surprises in your food? Tell all!
