We're seeing this gooey, cheesy, tantalizing dinner everywhere. Pizza meets spaghetti in one delicious casserole: It's Pizzetti! And it's super easy to make. Many recipes have you cook the spaghetti before assembling the casserole. But we've cut that step to keep the noodles from getting soggy. Make yours almost the same way you make lasagna by cooking it all at once, dried pasta and all. Here's how!

What else would you add to your pizzetti?

Scatter Dried Spaghetti

Take about a third of your spaghetti, break in half, and scatter evenly over sauce.

Spread Cheese Over Pasta

Place half of the cheese over the spaghetti and sauce. I used mozzarella slices (12), but shredded mozzarella (1 cup) will work, too.

Spread Sauce Over Cheese Layer

Spread the other half of your sauce over this layer of cheese. This is why I like using mozzarella slices -- it's easier to spread the sauce over them than over shredded cheese.

Pour in Water Mixed With Sauce

Pour 1/2 cup water into your sauce jar, mix well, and pour into your baking dish, near each corner of the pan. This will help cook the pasta without making the casserole soggy.

Bake and Enjoy

Cover dish with foil and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. It's done when the pasta is fully cooked and the cheese is bubbling.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
