Forget Frozen: Try This Easy Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

easy homemade chicken pot pies

When I was a kid, my mom often bought frozen chicken pot pies. I remember her popping them in the microwave and waiting for the savory meal to come out hot and ready. Flash forward to today with my own children, and I've done my best to stay away from processed foods, no matter how easy it might be to cave in. So this recipe for easy homemade chicken pot pie really hit home for me, and my children just love it! A hearty crust of cornmeal and cheddar holds a creamy, savory filling of chicken and veggies.
