With fall now fully in the air and Halloween here before we know it, it's the perfect time of year to serve up some spooky little treats (and tricks, if you have them). It's even more fun when there's no baking to do -- yes, you read that right -- and you can get the kids involved!

So what are you waiting for? Get into the "spirit" with a seasonal snack that won't take all day to make. (Let's face it: You need to save some time for pumpkin picking and carving!)

These gooey ghosts in a pudding cup graveyard, inspired by Norene Cox at, are fun to assemble and ready to eat in seconds -- which is great when you've got some hungry little goblins on your hands!

Here's what you'll need; adjust amounts according to how many you want to make and your family's tastes:

Chocolate pudding cups

Chocolate wafers or cookies

Marshmallow ghosts

Candy pumpkins

Place the cookies in a food processor and pulse until crumbled. Or put them in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Then place the cookie crumbs on top of the pudding. Sit a ghost on the crumbles and add a candy pumpkin for decoration.

See how easy that was? Now grab a spoon and enjoy!
