But let's be real: Easter is when these brightly colored marshmallow treats shine the brightest, no? What makes them an all-around winner when it comes to celebrations is that you can do so much more with Peeps than just eat them. Of course, there are plenty of different ways you can eat Peeps, that goes without saying.

But if none of those modes of ingesting these seasonal goodies pique your interest, or if you just plain don't like Peeps (blasphemy), you can still stock up! We use them for target practice with high powered rifles. They are biodegradable and disappear when hit, instant gratification.

I LOVE the vanilla ones & the bubble gum ones. The blue raspberry are okay too - now I have to go find sweet lemonade lol.  (don't like watermalon at all, so pass on those).  The Chocolate ones w/ the chocolate dipped bottoms aren't too fab.

I can't believe they neglected to mention microwaving them! In 5-7 seconds you can turn a benign peep into a teenage mutant ninja peep!

micorwaving them is fantastic!  they turn into small turkeys!

for my daughters baby shower before our grand daughter was born we used them as favors for the shower, they didn't want to know what they were having so I put a pink and a blue peep in a cellophane bag and tied with pink and blue ribbon they were so cute on the table and were a hit!!
