Make Your Own Shamrock Shakes With Just 4 Ingredients (VIDEO)

shamrock shakeWhen I say St. Patrick's Day, some people think beer. Me? I think shamrock shakes. You know, those minty green milkshakes made famous by a certain fast food restaurant? Well, if it's been a while since you've indulged, you're in for a treat. I think mint and ice cream make a scrumptious combination. These shakes are ridiculously simple to whip up at home. Just four ingredients to refreshing St. Patrick's Day perfection. Here's how to make them!

The Stir's Shamrock Shakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (or more if you want a thinner shake)
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
  • Green food coloring

Directions:

Blend ice cream, milk, and mint extract. Add food coloring a drop at a time, blending until you reach your desired shade of green. Enjoy!

Have you ever tried making your own shamrock shakes?
