crock pot recipesThere are certain things I regularly use my Crock-Pot for: slow-cooked beef, chicken soup, pork loin, and stew. Those are all classic slow-cooker fare, but you know what I'm finding out? My Crock-Pot can do much more -- SO much more.

I love my slow cooker. It's convenient and easy to use, and any busy mom will sing its praises as an old-school yet totally awesome must-have appliance. But my slow-cooker skills have been limited -- until now! I have recently discovered that there are so many other concoctions that can be created in my humble Crock-Pot.

    There is something so great about homemade granola -- the main thing being that you can make it YOUR way with whatever dried fruits and nuts you desire. And the best part? It's crazy easy! Just throw the items along with some butter into your Crock-Pot and let it cook.
