Crock-Pot Roast Recipe's Secret Ingredient Will Taste VERY Familiar

Is there anything more delicious than a good pot roast on a cold day? And is there anything more magical than sticking relatively cheap ingredients into a crock-pot and having them transform into a masterpiece while you go on about your life without lifting a finger in the kitchen?

No. There isn't. Except for when you find a secret ingredient that takes your classic favorite to the next level. Get ready to be wowed by the mystery ingredient that will make this pot roast recipe one of the best things to ever simmer in your slow cooker.

It's Coca-Cola! No joke. It adds a special something to the sauce that just can't be replicated any other way. I know it sounds weird (unless you've tried it before, in which case, I am preaching to the choir), but trust me on this. Your tastebuds will not regret it.

Crocka Cola Pot Roast Recipe via Erica Buteau

1 Pot Roast- 2-3lbs
1 Can Coca Cola
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Envelope Onion Soup Mix
1lb baby carrots
10 Small New Potatoes- I like the Red ones.
Salt, pepper, minced garlic.

Wash veggies. Set aside. Mix coke, cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix. Set aside.

Heat up a TBS oil in a skillet. Rub the roast with minced garlic, salt and pepper. The amount is entirely up to you!

Sear the roast on all sides. Place in crockpot. Add veggies. Pour cola and soup mix over everything.

Cook on high 4-5 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. Depends on your roast size and your crockpot.

Bon Appetit!
