If getting in the back-to-school swing of things (i.e., dragging your kids out of bed every morning) has been a bit challenging, here's a great way to sweeten things up. These cinnamon roll cake pops are as delicious as they are adorable and will have your family springing out of bed.
They're incredibly easy too. Eclectic Recipes provides step-by-step directions with pictures that are easy to follow. Basically you start with canned cinnamon roll dough, then cut to size, insert sticks, bake, and frost. So easy, but so much more fun than just eating them the traditional way. These would also look adorable on a buffet for a baby shower or festive brunch.
Cinnamon Roll Pops
1 (12.4-ounce) can cinnamon rolls with frosting
16 lollipop sticks
Unroll dough and form two mini cinnamon rolls from each piece.
Insert a lollipop stick into cinnamon rolls.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 10 - 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and drizzle with frosting.
Add sprinkles if you like.
