I cannot believe that the last day of school is here!  That means we'll be spending most of our time camping, grilling, at the pool, and everything that you think of when you think summer.

We bought a new camper about a month ago and have taken it out a couple times, I love it and I wish we would have done this sooner! My favorite part is grilling and cooking over the campfire! We make everything from Pancakes to Tin Foil French Fries like this recipe! For some reason, everything tastes better when it's grilled over the fire!

These Tin Foil Grilled French Fries are loaded with everything from cheese to my favorite Daisy Sour Cream!

Anyone who's been camping knows that it's not always the easiest to serve and eat around the campfire, I'm thrilled to have Daisy Sour Cream Squeeze available to make adding delicious sour cream to my recipes like Tin Foil French Fries so much easier! Let's face it, little things like squeeze containers make me happy because it makes things simpler!

How to Make Tin Foil Grilled French Fries

  • 1 Package of Frozen French Fries (we like crinkle cut)
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup Bacon Bits
  • Daisy Sour Cream Squeeze
  • Fresh Chives
  • Salt & Pepper

Step 1 - Grease your pieces of tin foil before placing the fries, cheese, bacon bits, and salt and pepper onto the foil

Step 2 - Fold the tin foil into a package and grill for 20 minutes or until you hear the cheese sizzling

Step 3 - Remove the package from the grill or fire

Step 4 - Add the Daisy Sour Cream, chives, salt, and pepper.

We let everyone select how much sour cream they want to add, I like a lot!  I really like making these on the grill because the flavor is so good, but you can also make these in the oven too.  I love that you can let them cool slightly, eat them from the tin foil, and throw away when you're done.  You don't even dirty a dish!  If you're used to camping, you know that this is a HUGE benefit!  The less dishes you have to wash, the better!

What recipes do you make over the campfire?
