6 Food Gadgets That Are So Ridiculous You Just Might Want Them (PHOTOS)

Tama-chanYou know how you've been wishing that someone would finally get around to inventing a stroller specifically designed for your watermelon so you don't have to carry it around in your arms. Yeah, me neither, but someone has done so nonetheless.

Not only does it carry your melon, but it cools it too. Highlighted on FoodBeast, it's known as the Tama-chan, and it will run you the equivalent of about $200 U.S. Unbelievable. But like so many other food gadgets that try to lure us with their innovation and promises of making our lives easier, it's one of those things no one really needs ... but somehow we find ourselves longing for. Here are five other tempting but ridiculous food gadgets.

OMG my great-grandparents had a milk carton holder! It was yellow and plastic, and made it so much easier to pour my own milk when I camped at their house.

You still have to put the watermelon into the house after you purchase it, then carry it into that stroller thingy so you might as well save your money and just put it on the cutting board and cut it up right away.

Other than the watermelon carrier and the square egg thing, these items would be great for people with hand and wrist arthritis. Especially the milk carton handle.

I don't have any of these, but I kinda like the smore maker. I haven't gone camping in almost 15 years and will probably never go again, but smores are soo good!

I received a "perfect meatloaf pan" for my birthday last year from my MIL. What a waste, glad I didnt buy it myself because it is basically just a loaf pan with a lift out drain type dealie for the grease but you can only make a small meatloaf with it and it tastes like metal on the outside bcause of whatever type of metal the pan is made out of...

Also got a Quesadilla maker for "quick" quesadillas from someone else as a gift. Another waste. Takes 3 minutes to make a quesadilla in the quesadilla maker or...... I can just make it on the microwave in less than a minute.

Everyone in my family wants the gooey middle so that brownie pan is a no go. I have RA and do have a milk carton handle, but it's plastic with a built up hand grip not metal, it helps to keep me from dropping it.
