key lime pieEver since the weather got a little bit warmer, I've been craving a sweet, savory, and refreshing dessert to enjoy after dinner while relaxing on my deck.

And that's why I can't wait 'til the weekend rolls around and I can try out this super easy key lime pie recipe from Allrecipes to satisfy my urge for something that reminds me of summer.

I've been a huge fan of all things key lime for as long as I can remember; in fact, my husband and I even had a key lime wedding cake -- that's how much we both love the flavor.

The best part of this particular recipe is how simple it is. Even if you aren't a whiz in the kitchen, you can easily throw this pie together in a matter of minutes and impress your family with a delicious treat they'll ask for again and again.

Key Lime Pie

1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker pie crust

3 cups sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup sour cream

3/4 cup key lime juice

1 tablespoon grated lime zest

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine condensed milk, sour cream, key lime juice, and lime zest in a medium bowl. Mix together well and pour into the graham cracker crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles burst on the surface of pie. DO NOT BROWN! Chill pie thoroughly before serving.

Garnish with whipped cream and/or lime slices and enjoy!
