Finally, someone has gotten into my brain, articulated my thoughts, and delivered a food stuff so insanely awesome, the word "crazy" is in its title. Say hello to Pizza Hut's new Crazy Cheesy Crust Pizza. Instead of regular old boring crust at the end of a slice, there are two, count 'em two pockets of cheese. There's a ring of cheese pockets around the entire pie and if that doesn't make your heart smile, you're dead to me.
Pizza Hut reinvented my sleepovers back in the '90s when they launched their stuffed crust pizzas, and now, with this new concoction, they've reinvented my nights alone in front of the TV. Now I won't have to stare at my uneaten crust and cry because I have no one who will eat the parts of foods that I don't like because there won't be any parts of this new Crazy Cheesy Crust Pizza that I don't like! Win fucking win.
And you know, I'm really thankful Pizza Hut took the elegant route here and made these delicious little pockets filled with five cheeses, instead, you know, cramming them with cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. Lest you think I'm exaggerating, nope! That's actually a thing. They had it in the Middle East. Who knew the American version would be less gluttonous?
The Crazy Cheesy Crust pizza goes on sale today and is tentatively available for the next three months. Don't get your hopes up too much, but I do think it's worth mentioning that this could become a regular menu item if we play our cards right.
So, if you happen to see a woman Saturday night in New York City sitting alone in sweatpants eating an entire Crazy Cheesy Crust pie, don't disturb her. She'll be in her happy place. Well, actually, feel free to interrupt if you have some crushed red pepper and/or a coupon for a free soda.
How good does this look to you?
