Sometimes you've just gotta throw caution to the wind and eat a meal/dessert that's a million-and-five calories -- and love every damn minute of it. Obviously, you don't want to eat this way every day, but on the occasions that you do, there's the Chocolate Chip Pancake Ice Cream Sundae recipe. And sweet baby Jesus, it's delicious.
If you're looking for a healthy meal, you may want to look otherwise, friends. But if you're looking for something super decadent (and super tasty), look no further.
Chocolate Chip Pancake Ice Cream Sundae
Ingredients:
- pancake mix
- milk or water
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (use more if you like)
- powdered sugar
- vanilla ice cream
- chocolate syrup
- whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Prepare as much pancake mix as you need according to the directions on the package. Add chocolate chips and stir. Cook pancakes one at a time in a 4 to 6 inch round skillet. They'll end up big and perfectly shaped.
2. For each serving, place one pancake on a plate. Sprinkle with some powdered sugar. Put 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream on the pancake. Drizzle chocolate syrup on the whole sundae and top with whipped cream.

May I just say though, please stop posting recipes that start with a mix. How hard is it to post a pancake recipe and then say, "or just use your favorite mix"? Plus pancakes from scratch are easy, I know. I just made enough for a party.
Anyway I hadn't thought of pancakes with ice cream before! Today is a glorious day! Lololol, thanks for that.
