Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Launch Wine Label Because They Just Aren’t Busy Enough

MiravalIt's safe to say that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might soon take over the world (and I'm not just talking about their humongous, ever-growing brood). Now they're about to invade your kitchen ... and local bar. Yep, the twosome are coming out with their own brand of wine, produced by their French estate, Chateau Miraval. Releasing your own wine from your very own French estate? Must be nice.

The wine is actually a rosé. It was formerly called "Pink Floyd" but is now being re-branded as "Miraval." Guess "Pink Floyd" was a little too low-class for the Jolie-Pitts? Or maybe they'd need the branding rights from the band?

Anyway, the biggest, most thought-provoking question that one must ask oneself in order to continue on with one's life: Would you try it?

Why the hell not? Sign me up. That is, unless it doesn't cost a solid $1,000 or so per bottle. In that case, free samples, anyone?

And it doesn't sound like Brad and Angie just signed some papers and got their name on the label. The super-famous, good-looking duo reportedly went to blending sessions and helped design the bottle's sleek look and black label. The label will say "Jolie-Pitt and Perrin," just in case that's something you're looking for or something you'd be quite embarrassed by.

In case you need or want any confirmation on this life-altering news, Pitt said in a statement, "We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine project with our friends the Perrin family."

Seriously, how the heck do they find the time to do all this?! Between acting and raising all their kids and their charity work, they still manage to have a spare hour or two to get drunk off rosé samples? Kudos to them. They oughta look into releasing a new brand of energy pills next.

Anyway, another plus: The estate in France is organic. “For us,” says Perrin, “organic is the only way to grow grapes.”

Sounds like a winner so far. Hmmm, gotta wonder how this new rosé will compare to some other celebrities' wine ventures. Let's hope it fares better than Madonna's Pinot Grigio!

Would you try Angelina and Brad's new rosé? What do you think about celebrities coming out with wines?
