Looking for the perfect Halloween treat for your party? Maybe something delicious and chocolaty, but also creeeepy? How about chocolate spiders! They're crunchy and fun -- and would be believe ridiculously easy, too? We've included a recipe and a how-to video below. These little guys are just too cute and funny not to make. Here are two versions of this simple Halloween recipe.
Chop the chocolate confectioners' coating and place into a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Cook, stirring occasionally until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the chow mein noodles so they are evenly distributed. Spoon out to desired size onto waxed paper. Let cool completely before storing or serving.
Makes 20 spiders.
Jordy's Cooking's chocolate spiders are made with peanut butter for another great-looking version. These are even cuter if you can find some little googly eyes or edible eyes for decoration.
