Last night we had the amazing opportunity to spend an evening with some of the best bloggers and talents around! Women from the Broadway show MAMMA MIA! to on-air personalities to many of the amazing writers that you read here every day showed up to help CafeMom, The Stir, Mamás Latinas, and CafeMom Studios throw one helluva party. You see ... we needed to break in our new headquarters over here on 5th Avenue anyway, so what better way to do it. We called our cocktail party Sugar & Spice and we drank, we danced, we ate ... and we even read some Fifty Shades of Grey. All in all, a rockin' time!
Our attendees left with an awesome gift bag, and we want share the love by giving you a chance to win one too. Featuring swag from Gilt Baby & Kids, Dunkin' Donuts, Godiva Liquor, Baileys, Babeland, John Barrett Braid Bar, and Lindt, this is definitely a bag you'll want to get your hands on.

A few of our awesome guests enjoying the delicious drinks and catering from Divalicious Catering. Our signature drink was a jalapeno margarita with a rim of cayenne pepper ... man did it have a kick!
A mini caprese salad -- served by a flurry of hot guys. Not sure how the caterer managed to ensure each server was buff and sweet on the eyes -- but he did!

Getting down with some Burlesque lessons by Jo Weldon of the New York School of Burlesque. These women knew learned how to shake it!
Music was strong and always flowing ... DJ Osato Ukponmwan made sure there was never a dull moment!
Wine and braids ... Absolutely!
Some amazing bloggers chatting each other up! Great having old friends and new all in the same room.
Mmmmm, holy sweet tooth! If the margaritas were our spice, then this sugar made it well worth it.

The family get together was to celebrate the 4th of July.
The last party I went to was last week for National Night out!!next time you have a party like this,please,invite ME!!!It looks like everyone had alot of fun
The last party I went to was 2 months ago and was actually a birthday party for my daughter's friend :) LOL. Sad, I know, but it was actually really fun! My daughter's 3, and her friend turned 5. The whole theme was Tangled, and each girl got a very long braid/hair clip to keep, they decorated cardstock crowns with foam stickers & jewels, played a few games - including tug-o-war with a long, yellow braid. And oh the food! The husband is the head chef at a local 5 star restaurant and he made all the food from scratch - during the party, so everything was fresh from the oven! I had a tuna salad sandwich on homemade bread, then some pepperoni pizza (again, homemade bread) and some salad. Then there was a giant sugar cookie for everyone to share, cake, ice cream and cupcakes! It may have been a party for kids, but I had just as much fun as they did!
The party was at my cousin's house.

My mother in laws 50th birthday bash! It was alot of fun, and the old folks (lol) stayed up late talking while us young bucks went home with the kiddos!
