As far as summertime desserts go, ice cream is pretty much where it's at. In a cone, in a cup, or straight out of the carton, you really can't go wrong with the delicioso taste of sweet, decadent ice cream. And the best part? It's easy. There's no turning on an oven, no preparing a "glaze," no letting things chill for 30 minutes. You just scoop and serve. Everybody wins.

So why not up the ante at your next barbecue? Instead of just dishing out ice cream into mismatched bowls, try throwing together an ice cream sundae bar. It looks super cute, and still, easy as pie! I mean, ice cream!

Ingredients:

• Ice creams of your choice -- I tend to stick with the classic flavors so the toppings can really shine (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, occasionally coffee).
• Waffle cones, waffle bowls
• Sauces: Chocolate syrup, butterscotch, caramel, strawberry
• Whipped Cream
• Cherries
• Toppings of your choice (Nuts, sprinkles, marshmallows, gummy bears, M&Ms, sliced bananas, crushed cookies)

Instructions:

Set up bowls, cones, and ice cream at the end of a long table (if you have one). Follow with sauces, and finally toppings. Line the toppings up in glass bowls (with spoons for dishing out!), and if you're feelin' fancy, put little signs in front of each bowl, labeling the topping. And that's that!
