Farming may not be the most glamorous job, but someone's gotta do it if we want to have dinner on our plates tonight! Thank goodness three hot young farmers from Kansas are here to open our eyes to the importance of agriculture and to remind us that oh yeah, our food does not grow on grocery store shelves!
The cutie pie Peterson Farm brothers -- Greg, Kendal, and Nathan -- look like who producers might have cast if Magic Mike took place in the sticks! While they can't add a major motion picture to their resumes just yet, they have jumped on the viral video bandwagon -- by doing their own version of LMFAO's "I'm Sexy And I Know It" reinvented as "I'm Farming And I Grow It." Ha! And I promise -- it's even more fun than it sounds.
Check it out ...
No wonder the vid already has over a million and a half views, right? I love the part where the one guy says he's got passion for his plants! Oh, and of course, how they subbed out "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle" for "water, water, water." Haaa.
What makes it even better is that the brothers did this not just for YouTube hits, but because they wanted to send a very specific message to fellow Americans. Greg told AgriTalk:
People need to know where their food comes from. People need to know who farmers are. ... We're just trying to do our jobs and feed the world.
As a devout foodie who makes a point to check out where her produce is grown and how her meat is raised, I couldn't agree with the sexy farmer more! And this is one super-cute and funny way to spread the word.
How adorable are these farmers? Does this make you want to know more about where your food comes from?

This is awesome. My husband grew up in the town in Kansas where these guys live, and they go to the same high school that he graduated from. I think it's important that we know where our food comes from and what we're supporting when we make our food choices.
WAY better than the original, which is on my DO NOT EVER PLAY THIS SONG ANYWHERE NEAR ME list.
I live in the middle of Iowa Farm Country, and this has gone viral among my farming and 4H friends. They've been passing it around - and loving it - on facebook for at least a week, now.
Cute.
So good I had to share it on facebook
