Festive 4th of July Desserts Perfect for a Patriotic Picnic (PHOTOS)

Potato salad, coleslaw, hot dogs, hamburgers, anything that tastes extra good when slathered in BBQ sauce. But come on, those are basically just go-to summer foods! What I mean is ... you don't need a special holiday to bust out the picnic basket or light up the grill.

Instead, with the Fourth being our country's birthday party, DESSERTS are where it's at! (And I'm not just arguing that, because I have a major sweet tooth.) Why not celebrate our country's independence by digging into some festive Fourth of July treats? Here, five delish desserts for a perfectly patriotic Fourth of July picnic ...
