Mr. Whippy vs. Mr. Yummy: Ice Cream Man Meltdown! (VIDEO)

by Jacqueline Burt on June 15, 2012 at 10:52 PM

ice cream truck brawlIt's the hottest new reality show of the summer -- or should we say, the coldest? I scream, you scream, we all scream ... for Ice Cream Wars! That's right, don't let the smiling soft-serve cone on the side of the truck fool you: The life of an ice cream man ain't always sweet.

Just take it from Mr. Yummy and Mr. Whippy, the rival popsicle pushers whose on-the-job brawl was caught on tape!

Okay, so Ice Cream Wars isn't a reality show (yet). But it totally should be! Because I'm not even making up the part about their names being Mr. Yummy and Mr. Whippy ... this REALLY happened.

Apparently Zeheer "Mr. Yummy" Ramzan and Mohammed "Mr. Whippy" Mulla had an ongoing feud over territory, and the whole thing came to a head when Mr. Whippy "accidentally" broke Mr. Yummy's window with a tire iron. Naturally Mr. Yummy responded by crashing his truck into Mr. Whippy's vehicle.

You've gotta see it to believe it:

See? Don't you think these guys should have their own reality show?? And then in the winter they could switch over to street corner Santas.

Would you want to watch Ice Cream Wars on a weekly basis?

Is the object of all these reality shows to make each one more ridiculous than the last?

    Tv is so worthless anymore.

This actually happend last summer in my town.  We have some really sketchy icecream-van drivers (One Van is actually a converted ambulance hand painted with purple polka-dots and the driver is 300lbs and  wears a wife-beater and short-shorts)  I guess they had been having a territory dispute as well and after a few smaller altercations one of them ran the other off the road and then they had a fist fight in some people's yards.  I didn't realize this was a common trend.
