This weekend I went searching for a good, inexpensive wine for Thanksgiving. The guy at my local wine store recommended a sweet Riesling from Chile (Cousino-Macul), because he said it went perfectly with turkey. The best part? It was priced at under $12, which went perfectly with my budget.
I enjoy finding wines that compliment the food I'm serving, but according to a recent article in Forbes.com it's better to "look for crowd-pleasers that won't overpower your palate—or your head—during a long meal." Check out its list of 10 Best Wines for Thanksgiving (most priced under $20!). What do you like to drink on the big day?

Yum, I miss wine.
After this baby comes out and I get the hang of breastfeeding, I'm gonna store up some milk and have some wine again!
I love to try local wines from our many wineries we have here in Ohio and there are some pretty good ones. But I am going to check out the list to take something nice to my sister's for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't think she would be happy with one of my favorite local wines called "Mad Cow".
