As temperatures continue to climb, I find myself dreading my oven more and more. I know that as we move into summer I'll find every excuse I can to abandon it all together. Of course, that doesn't mean I still don't need my cookies, and that's where the no-bake version comes in so handy.
I've made plenty of batches of no-bake cookies over the years, but this recipe from Shugary Sweets that incorporates Nutella are my favorite by far. The creamy hazelnut spread just gives them a little something extra that makes them so good you'll need to make extra.
Nutella No-Bake Cookies
2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup Nutella
3 cup quick oats
Over medium heat, cook sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Boil one minute. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla, salt, peanut butter, Nutella and oats. Stir until combined.
Drop by teaspoon on wax paper and cool. Refrigerate.
Eat. Repeat.

Soooo good!
I wonder if I have all the ingredients actually.... Lol!
just like my grandma's recipe...except hers just used peanut butter. no refrigeration required with hers either. Just boil, let cool, and enjoy. :)
I should try these for my sister. She loves no-bake cookies and she loves Nutella. Not sure if she'd like them combined, but I think she'd love the idea!
I found what I am going to make for when the husband gets home.. :D
Wonder if these can be made with butter instead of margarine ...
My mom made these for us when we were a kid, but with peanut butter. She called the 'cat food cookies' because that's what they look like.
