I've seen the piles of corn on the cob starting to creep into the markets, and I've already pulled out my holders on more than one occasion. And so begins the season of one of the most delicious vegetables that screams summer like none other.
It's fun, bright, and festive, and goes with most any meal. Because it's so delicious and simple, it lends itself to many different recipes too. Here are five of my favorite ways to prepare corn on the cob.

I love my DH's Uncle Bobby's fresh grown corn just grilled and a little bit of salt and butter.
I have always boiled ours and then served it with butter. My husband likes to add pepper and lime salt to his or else lemon pepper. I have often wondered about grilling it but have yet to try that.
Grilled would be good. Even cut off the cob. For every day, I microwave ours.
We love it over the campfire.
We grilled up some corn last night. Yummy!
I really like grilled corn on the cob, but we put butter on it and wrap it up in a foil packet and put a little water in it. Then grill it. Yummy!!
I boil my corn on the cob with a little sugar and lemon juice. Then top it with butter and salt and pepper.
We also get tons of corn on the cob in the summer and then spend a day cooking it, taking it off the cob and putting it in food saver bags. It is so yummy to have that during the winter months. We tried leaving it on the cob, but it takes up too much freezer space.
Ive had it on the bbq and boiled.. I love it both of those ways.
my dh makes it on the grill. i like it that way!
