I've seen the piles of corn on the cob starting to creep into the markets, and I've already pulled out my holders on more than one occasion. And so begins the season of one of the most delicious vegetables that screams summer like none other.
It's fun, bright, and festive, and goes with most any meal. Because it's so delicious and simple, it lends itself to many different recipes too. Here are five of my favorite ways to prepare corn on the cob.

I smooter it with butter, a touch of salt and lots of pepper. Place it on foil and add fresh garlic, onions, jalepenos and green and red chilies. I wrap the foil tightly around all and grill till it is done. I t is soooo spicy and soooooooooo yummy.

My favorite way is to wrap it in a paper towel and nuke it.
I love it when my DH grills it and then add salt, butter and pepper.
