I love a thick, rich chocolate milkshake in a tall, frosty glass. At a diner, with a pile of hot French fries. Amirite? OR! At home. Yes, you too can create the magic of the classic frosty chocolate milkshake right in your own home.
The key ingredient is malted milk powder, which you'll usually find near the baking supplies or near the coffee creamer at your grocery store. The rest you know -- your favorite ice cream, chocolate syrup, milk, and a spoon. Because this stuff is thick! Here's Emeril's recipe below.

More from The Stir: Paula Deen's Banana Split Cake
Ingredients
1 pint premium chocolate ice cream
1/4 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons malt
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
3/4 cup crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies or chocolate chip cookies
Directions
Place the ice cream, milk, malt, and syrup in a blender and process on low speed for 30 seconds. Add the cookies and process for 20 seconds. Pour into 2 tall glasses and serve each with a straw and long-handled spoon.
You can always put your own spin using different syrups or adding a banana.
