Smokin' Hot Guacamole Will Spice Up Your Cinco de Mayo Celebration

guacamoleI don't believe I'm going out on limb when I say that guacamole is the best thing that ever happened to chips. It's the perfect, creamy complement to the salty, crunchy chips, and it's simply a must for any Cinco de Mayo plans you may have.

But all guacamole isn't created equal. Though most share the same lovely green shade, what's mixed in makes a big difference in the taste. This recipe for smokin' hot guacamole comes from people who really know their avocados -- Hass Avocados -- and it comes with quite a kick. It contains just the perfect amount of heat to spice up your meal.

Smokin' Hot Guacamole

4 ripe, Fresh Hass avocados, seeded, peeled and cut in half
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup finely chopped canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
