Actual Delicious Umami Burger . . . Mmmmm
With that mad cow only a few miles away from my very own home, one would think that burgers would be off the menu. However, when you take a look outside and the sun is shining, and summer is merely around the corner, it's time to bust out the grill. And what goes better on the grill than any other thing in the known universe? Burgers.

And that is why I've searched the Internets for the most amazing twists on the humble burger. So you can totally show off to your dinner guests this weekend.

Don't forget the fries!

Here are five unbelievably amazing ways to prepare your burger this weekend.

Ultimate Umami Burger

There's a reason this SoCal chain started small and is now making people wish they lived in California. The umami flavor is something you taste, can't describe, and then crave forever. Luckily the good people at White On Rice Couple have provided us with a recipe. The secret? Fish sauce. That's right, fish sauce.

Gorgonzola Stuffed Burgers

You should always ask the experts when you're looking for a fab burger recipe, and the good people at Cheeseburger.Net surely know what they're talking about. As seen with their recipe for the cheese stuffed burger. But not just any cheese -- that's Gorgonzola, people.

Triple Smoke Burger

The number one burger pick on Epicurious, the triple smoke burger sounds un-freaking-believable. Bring on the chipotle peppers in adobe, paprika, avocado, and don't forget the bacon.

BBQ Pork Burgers With Slaw

Pork is the hot meat these days, and here's how to make it hotter: Throw this bad boy on the grill and add on flavor.

Chickpea and Brown Rice Burgers

Don't think I'd forget you vegetarians here! I know you don't want to be left out at the barbecue, and this veggie recipe is all for you. Having made and devoured these chickpea and brown rice burgers by Tasty Yummies, I can tell you confidently that you will not miss the meat.

Who's hungry?

I love playing with burger recipes! Last summer I was all about the "stuffed" burgers. Sometimes it was stuffed with blue cheese, other times it might be stuffed with cheddar or pepper jack or both. Yeah, I'm stoked for grill season!

It's MSG that makes you crave it.

I like deer and buffalo burgers but being so lean you end up with a dry burger, so here is a seacret I learned and OMG, juicy and aah so succulent! This can be used in any very lean meat and you cut out the fat without sacrificing flavor and make them OH so juicy (did I say juicy?)  Per pound take a slice of bread remove the crust and break it up, add 2 tablespoon of milk and mush it up. Add any seasoning that you desire and mix it up in your ground meat and start the grill.... Let me know how you you like it.  Happy grilling!
