Oh, don't tell me you're surprised. You can get marshmallow fluff-flavored vodka now, for the love of cripes. All bets are off.

Alaska Distillery picked the perfect day to debut their new hemp seed-infused vodka, to be sure, but don't expect any dope in your drink (the hemp seeds used contain no THC). So what's the point?

Apparently hemp imparts a rather lovely nutty sweetness to vodka. Which I must admit sounds a hell of a lot better than whipped cream/gummy bear/cotton candy-flavored "vodka."

And it must make for some eeeenteresting cocktails! Here are 3 ideas for Hemp-Flavored Vodka Cocktails (along with suggestions for appropriate occasions).

1. The Reefer Madness Martini

Sophisticated yet stoner-friendly, these are perfect for fancy dinner parties with people you know would rather be watching Dazed & Confused. Again.

6 fluid ounces Purgatory vodka
1 dash dry vermouth
1 fluid ounce brine from olive jar
4 stuffed green olives

Combine and serve over ice.

2. The Buzzy Mary

Perfect for Sunday brunch, the Buzzy Mary is best served with plenty of munchies an ample buffet selection.

3 oz tomato juice
1 1/2 oz Purgatory vodka
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
celery salt
ground pepper
hot pepper sauce to taste
celery stalk and/or pickle spear for garnish

Combine ingredients and garnish with celery stalk or pickle spear.

3. The "Hey man, are those Jello shots?"

Best served at college reunions, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or on holidays when you're forced to hang out with those high-strung family members who turned out to be really cool that one time they ate pot brownies by accident.

3 boxes (3 oz. each) Jello
2-1/2 cups Purgatory vodka
3-1/3 cups water

Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in the Jello until it dissolves. Wait about 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka.
Pour into individual shot-size cups and freeze.
