I don't know about you, but in my house peanut butter and jelly is good anytime—breaskast, brunch, lunch, dinner, snack...whenever! That's why I got such a kick out of this Peanut Butter & Jelly French Toast recipe from FIVEHAPPYHEARTS. She says her kids love it for breakfast, especially with syrup or a glass of cold milk. Why not whip it up for brunch this weekend?

sounds yummy! I've also seen recipes for PB & J muffins, with jelly in the middle
I would try this, I love PB &J.... but I doubt my two daughters would eat it, they don't like it, lol!
Love that bib!!!
GO STEELERS!!!!!
I have a similar recipe. There is nothing wrong with PB&J for breakfast. You have carbs, protein & fat-all necessary for a good day's work. You can also eliminate the jelly & add some slice banans (a la Elvis). To keep the fat/cholesterol down, you can use egg substitute.
I grew up having my dad eating a toasted PB and jelly sandwich-every morning with his cup of tea. It is totally normal for me to do the same now. My husband gave me the weirdest look when I made one for breakfast, lol
WHY NOT PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY. I AM 83 AND MOM GAVE ME PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY ANY TIME, I LOVED IT WHEN I WAS A KID AND STILL LOVE IT. DID NOT FRY IT IN EGG THOUGH, WE JUST HAD FRENCH TOAST THEN PUT THE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY ON THE TOAST. IT WAS YUMMY AND I FELT LIKE IT WAS A TREAT THEN. I SERVED IT TO MY KIDS, DAUGHTER SERVED IT TO HER KIDS GRANDSON AND WIFE GIVE IT TO THEIR 2 YEAR OLD. ALL KIDS LIKE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY. I ALSO LIKE PEANUT BUTTER AND SYRUP MIX IT UP AND PUT IT ON TOAST OR FRENCH TOAST. LOTS OF VITAMINS NUTRITION THERE.
