I mean, honestly, the name of the recipe says it all here: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip. Are you not dying already? Two of life's greatest pleasures -- cookie dough and dips -- rolled into one sweet dessert. Or appetizer. Depends on how you're feeling.
This recipe genuinely couldn't be easier to make, and no, it's not just plopping some raw cookie batter out of a tub into a bowl and calling it a day. It's a God's honest recipe. And it's unlike anything you've ever tasted before.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip adapted from How Sweet It Is
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 8-ounce block of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cups chocolate chips
- Fruit, cookies, crackers -- whatever you want to serve this with
Instructions:
1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and whisk until sugar dissolves and mixture starts to bubble. Set aside to cool, and whisk in vanilla.
2. Cream together cream cheese and powdered sugar for 60 seconds. With mixer on low speed, add in brown sugar and butter mixture. Mix until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
3. Garnish with additional chopped chocolate. Serve with fruit, cookies, crackers, pretzels, or just a spoon.

I wonder how adding peanut butter would be? Love love love chocolate chip peanut butter stuff!
Sounds yummy! :D I wouldn't serve it with chips (I'm not the kind of gal who likes to mix salty and sweet tastes), but I can see this tasting delicious with banana or apple slices.
