Are you hungover? Tired at least? Well, you're in luck. New Year's is the one day of the year that you're supposed to just lounge around, watch crappy movies, and of course, eat.
What to eat, though? You don't want to whip up anything elaborate -- no, no trips to the store. But you do want something tasty; something savory; something a little ... unhealthy perhaps. Enter Peanut Butter Waffles With Bananas.
They're a sure fire crowd pleaser; they're easy to make; and best of all, odds are, you've got all the ingredients you need in your house already.
Peanut Butter Waffles With Bananas adapted from Cooks.com
Ingredients:
- 1 cup packaged pancake mix or Bisquick
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 cups peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. salad oil
- Bananas
- Whipped cream and chocolate sauce if you're feeling dirty
Instructions:
Ready for the super complicated recipe?
1. Beat everything together until almost smooth (not including the bananas, whipped cream, and/or chocolate sauce).
2. Bake in waffle baker. Top with bananas and whipped cream and/or chocolate sauce.
