Adorable Cinnamon Kittens

woman at tableThe following is a sponsored post from Pillsbury.

"OH MAH GAH," I yell.

"What??" my daughters yell back, from down the hall.

"I THINK I JUST FOUND A RECIPE THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO SCREW UP," I holler.

They rush in, looking skeptical.

"What IS it?" asks Ms. Finicky.

"A breakfast food. An ADORABLE breakfast food. Like, it's the KITTEN of breakfast foods. A whole litter of ADORABLE BREAKFAST KITTENS."

"Uh, I don't think we'd eat kittens."

"Right," I say. "So maybe not kittens. It's CINNAMON ROLLS, but instead, it's ... wait for it ... CINNAMON BITES! You take scissors! And cut up the refrigerated cinnamon rolls dough that we love to have on Christmas! And bake it! PRESTO ADORABLE BREAKFAST!"

They stare at me. Ms. Finicky says, "That sounds actually really good."

Ms. Serious nods. "You're right. It's physically impossible to screw up. You should start a website called Physically Impossible to Screw Up Recipes."

"Do you think there are more out there?" I ask. "Do you think there's hope for me? Especially for breakfasts?"

"Maybe see if you can pull this one off first, and then make the website," says Ms. Serious. "You do know how to use scissors, right?"

Ahem.

In the meantime, I share with you the recipe for cinnamon bites, otherwise known at our house as Adorable Cinnamon Kittens.

Perfect size for kids ... and for holiday waistlines!
