cinnamon swirl breadAs you prepare for New Year's Eve festivities tonight, you may want to think ahead and prepare something for breakfast tomorrow morning just in case you're not feeling in tip-top shape after a night of celebrating. Even if you're staying in, this cinnamon swirl bread will be a welcome treat with which to start off the New Year.

This recipe from Pillsbury is incredibly easy as it calls for just three ingredients, one of which is a pre-made, refrigerated bread dough, which takes out a lot of the work (i.e. no kneading). Still it's delicious and the perfect thing to enjoy with your cup of coffee (or five cups) tomorrow morning and all year long.

1 can Pillsbury® refrigerated crusty French loaf
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup cinnamon-sugar

Heat oven to 350°F.

Line cookie sheet with nonstick foil or parchment paper.

On cutting board, carefully unroll dough, beginning with seam, until flat on board.

Brush dough generously with butter.

Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon-sugar.

Roll up dough; place on cookie sheet.

Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before slicing.

Note: If you want to kick it up a notch top it with a drizzle of icing before slicing -- whatever kind you like.
