5 Delicious Ways to Cook the Christmas Ham

In order to make the most of your ham gorge, you really need to make sure it's a masterpiece. Sure you can buy them ready-made to stuff in your mouth, but try some home cooking to add some extra deliciousness to your Christmas pig.

Here are five different ways to cook up a ham for your Christmas feast. Warning, you will be hungry after reading this.


The Classic Honey Bake

The most simple version of ham that packs a sweet punch, this is the classic your family has come to expect on Christmas day.


1 ham, 5 - 7 pounds
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 1/2 cups honey
1/3 cup butter

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and place ham in baking pan.

2. Heat corn syrup, honey, and butter in a pan on low heat.

3. Continually brush glaze over ham about every 10 - 15 minutes while baking for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

4. Place ham in broiler and caramelize the glaze for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, and let sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
