Jamie Oliver Sautees Lady Gaga's Meat Dress With Garlic (VIDEO)

lady gaga jamie oliverAdmittedly I've worn a couple of weird things in my day, but nothing ever as outlandish as the famous Lady Gaga meat dress. I'll never forget the first instant I saw her wearing that outrageous concoction at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards with meat purse, headpiece, and shoes to match. All I could think was how nauseous I'd be to sit or stand next to her. UGH that smell. I feel faint now just thinking about it.

The meat dress made its valiant return over the weekend, when Gaga made a stop by British talk show The Jonathan Ross Show. No no, she wasn't wearing it. This time, the 25-year-old "You & I" singer was pleasantly surprised when celebrichef Jamie Oliver appeared accompanied by the dress, a few seasonings, and a frying pan.

"I made [the dress] myself, that is not it!" Gaga screeched as Oliver went to slice and dice the raw meat figure. I'm assuming you can imagine what happens next. I'll give you one hint: medium heat.

To see Oliver really get into it, click forward to around the 6-minute mark:

Oliver seems to really know how to season a good piece of meat! He finishes off this "beautiful" slab with salt, pepper, rosemary, and a little bit of garlic. Sounds yummy, doesn't it? Well, as long as you envision it as a fresh piece of meat (it's 21 days old, according to Oliver) and not an actual piece of the VMA dress that's rotting more and more by the second. He also manages to slip in that the dress itself was well hung (insert my infectious laughter, here). I can't help but wonder if that was an eensy little jab at that whole is Gaga a man or woman controversy? I hope so. I like my hunky male chefs a little humorous.

I am a bit curious -- now that Jamie has cooked up Gaga's (not actual) meat dress, does this mean she'll have to come up with some other foodie creation to wear and shock the masses instead? What if she decides to dip herself entirely in chocolate, like a strawberry, or instead bathes in organic Greek yogurt and drizzles herself with honey topped with walnuts. To be honest, none of those options would even surprise me.

Would you taste Gaga's meat dress?
