Cheesy Pepperoni Bread

Sure, you could order a pizza to munch on while everyone's watching the game. But sometimes homemade snacks are that much more tasty. This Cheesy Pepperoni Bread comes together in a snap: Just buy bread dough from the freezer section, spread with cheese and pepperoni, roll up, then pop in the oven until it's all melty and golden brown. You could even substitute more gourmet pizza toppings -- maybe some spinach and crumbled goat cheese? It all depends on what the crowd in your house is craving.

Cheesy Pepperoni Bread from Allrecipes

Ingredients

• 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
• 1 egg, beaten
• 4 ounces sliced pepperoni
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Roll frozen bread dough out into a rectangle. Brush dough with beaten egg.

2. Arrange pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese over the dough. Sprinkle on the Italian seasoning.

3. Roll up dough like a jelly roll and pinch seam to seal; place, seam side down, on greased baking sheet.

4. Bake in preheated oven at 375 for 40 minutes, or until golden.
