7 Foods That Are Better Than Sex

food better than sexAs a study shows that women think about food more often than sex, I have to wonder about what time of day these ladies were asked, "What are you thinking about right now?" Since the survey included women who were dieting, it makes sense that you're going to be thinking about food when you're depriving yourself. If you haven't had sex in a very, very long time, you might be more focused on that particular form of entertainment and sustenance instead.

But the fact of the matter is, we eat more often than we have sex, and most likely food pops into our heads a heck of a lot more than getting horizontal does. In fact, there are some foods that are so wildly distracting that if presented with these delicious dishes whilst in the middle of copulating, one might be forgiven for rolling over and taking a bite out of something other than your partner.

These 7 foods just might trump sex.

Belgian Waffles

Sure the pancake does its duty, but if you want to vary up your position, go Belgian. For a truly transcendent experience, slather on the maple syrup and whipped cream.

Potato Chips

That perfect crispy salty flavor is addictive for a reason. This is why people reach for the Lay's more often than the lay.

Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies

Universally delicious, chocolate chip cookies can make you moan when they're straight outta the oven. Hot cookies? Or hot sex? Hmmmmmmmm.

Philly Cheesesteak

It's steak with melted cheese (or whiz) on a toasty bun. Does it get much better than that? Perhaps paired with a back rub.

Dulce de Leche Gelato

The Italian version of ice cream is creamy, dreamy, and fantasy-worthy. Add in the dulce de leche caramel goodness and you're drooling.

This is where I show my cards. Give me a plate of crispy chips, smothered in beans, cheese, and any other extras (barbacoa? guacamole? even more swoon-worthy!), and I'm yours.

Chocolate-Covered Pretzels

Is there a more perfect combo of sweet and salty? Outside of the bedroom, anyway?

Do you think about food more often than sex?
