Justin Bieber BBQ Sauce Recipe Is Popping With Flavor

1

justin bieberWe all know that Justin Bieber is an expert musical artist, dancer extraordinaire, perfumista, and Obama pleaser. Hell, they may as well just dub this 17-year-old Prince of the United States! But did you know he's a chef, too?

Well ... sort of. The Biebs told MTV News that his fave summer activity is having barbecues.

"I can barbecue," said the heartthrob. "I mean, I don't make the sauce very well, but I can grill."

Pump the brakes. You mean to tell me that Biebs is a wizard at the grill, but doesn't have the right prep tactic? Everyone knows that a good barbecue is worthless without the perfect barbecue sauce. Excellent sauce is to meat like peanut butter is to jelly, Hansel is to Gretel, and apparently I am to horrible analogies.

Not to worry, JB. I have a first-rate recipe for you that takes only 15 minutes to make, from start to finish. The best part? I bet Momma Bieber has most of the sauce's 9 ingredients in her pantry. Let's get to cookin'!

Basic barbecue sauce from Serious Eats:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ketchup (check out our top ketchup picks!)
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon favorite barbecue rub (oooh, creative license!)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. When the sauce begins to boil, reduce the flame to medium-low, and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes, giving the flavors a chance to meld.

... and that's it! No more worry about messing up that sauce, Justin! Just douse your steaks, chicken breasts, and veggies with this tasty number, and make sure to keep an eye on your grillin'. Nobody likes the burnt parts!

Do you have a favorite barbecue sauce?
