Classic Grilled Beer Brats from BratwurstPages
- 10 brats
- 2 (12-ounce) bottles/cans of beer (or enough to cover brats)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 stick butter
- Brat condiments
- In a large pot, combine brats, beer, butter, and onion. Bring the beer to a simmer; simmer the brats for 20 minutes. Remove brats, reserving beer mixture.
- Grill brats.
- Serve brats on buns with beer mixture and condiments.
