Happy almost Cinco de Mayo! Tomorrow marks the Mexican army's victory over French forces, but mostly, here in the States, lots of people use it as a great excuse to go out after work to crunch on tortilla chips and get sloshed on margaritas! As far as I'm concerned, though, there is one thing I absolutely must have at my Cinco celebration mañana ... guacamole.
It's so beloved because it pairs so well with anything -- tacos, burritos, salads, fish, nachos, etc.! And Eva Longoria, who recently released her own cookbook, Eva's Kitchen: Cooking With Love for Family and Friends, features a signature guac the actress swears by. It will probably make your fiesta ...
