Stuff gets into our food and drinks. It happens. I challenge the person who says they’ve never found a hair in their pasta (blech) or a dead wasp in their turkey sub from Wegmans (true story). It’s gross, but if we want to eat, it’s an unfortunate fact of life we just have to deal with. A condom, though? That is just all kinds of wrong.
A woman in Sweden was pouring the last bit of filmjolk, a popular fermented milk, into her dog’s bowl when oops! Out came a condom. Oh, and the wrapper, a receipt, and a plastic ring.
I don’t know about you, but that’s just about the nastiest thing I’ve ever heard. I mean, I don't even know what to say here. Well, actually, I do: Barf.
Things, bad things, happened to me when I found that wasp. I couldn't eat for days. I couldn't lay eyes on an insect without my gag reflex being triggered -- and now this has brought all those hellish memories back. Times two!
Of course, this didn't stop me from taking a trip down Google Lane to see what other unbelievably disgusting things people have found in their food -- and let me tell you, a wasp is looking pretty good right now.
First, I stumbled upon the time Katherine Ortega discovered a fried chicken head in her Chicken McNuggets. Oof. Wow.
Then, I read about how Tim Hoffman found a frog in his bag of frozen veggies. Oh boy.
After that, I perused an article about Fred and Amy Denegri finding a mouse in their can of Pepsi. No comment.
But nothing -- and I mean nothing -- can top Clarence Stowers finding a severed finger in his pint of frozen custard! Mommy! Help!
Pretty yucky stuff, if I do say so myself. Kind of makes me want to never -- ever -- not grow my own food, wash it 17 times, and cook it myself again.

The mouse one was never proven to be true or not... and the chicken head was not in the Nuggets- those are so ground up and processed that the head would not have been recognized! It was in the chicken strips, back when McDonald's was trying to entice customers BACK to them because of the story that had come out discussing how nuggets were made. lol
I've only ever found hair- which is more than plenty for me. *shudders*
I found a beatle in my salad in Chick-Fil-A, and a roach in a McDonald's hamburger. *shudder*
I haven't had anyhting too terrible but when I was a kid I got an order of popcorn chicken from KFC that had a friend piece of the bad that the chicken comes wrapped in.
If I found a mouse or rat in my food I would more than likely die----no shit!!
Many years ago my mom had a can of Pepsi that just wouldn't stop fizzing.. so she poured it into a glass.. out came rocks, dirt and grass. She now pours all cans into glasses.. she will NOT drink from a can.
I found half a beetle in a Smart Ones frozen dinner and man did I complain to the company. They tried to send me coupons for more frozen dinners but I declined. I think that has ruined me for life. Instead they sent me a check to refund the cost of the dinner and some coupons for other free stuff. Blech!
I found a fly in my orange crush once...after I took a sip and it ended up in my mouth! I didn't drink it agan for years...until yesterday (just a sip from a cup). *shudder*
I found a whole dead grasshopper in my can of greenbeans!
I found a cockroach in my carrot raisin salad in middle school. When I told the lunch lady, shr said it would be ok to just eat around where I saw the bug..... I don't like raisins in anything to this day!!!!
