When I think of the Super Bowl, I think of beers, hot wings, and taking a sick day on Monday. But I'm a low-brow loser on a budget who considers ranch dressing a gourmet topping. There are, I hear, fancy people out there who do fancy things like rent fancy suites at fancy football games. There are fans out there who will spend tens of thousands on a luxury box in Dallas to watch Green Bay take on Pittsburgh.
And those fancy cats demand fancy foods. The stadium caterers, Legends Hospitality Management, have pulled together a Texas comfort-food menu that would make even the toughest cowboy coo over the beautifully decadent options.
So what's on the menu?
TMZ reports that the Super Bowl luxury box menu will look like this:
-- French Onion Dip
-- House Made Spiced Kettle Chips
-- Jalapeño White Cheddar Popcorn and Texas Pecan Kettle Corn
-- A Winter Fruit Presentation
-- Tenderloin of Beef
-- Southern Chicken Salad
-- Fruits and Nuts
-- Miniature Kaiser Rolls
-- Organic Citrus Salad
-- Organic Greens, Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit
-- Hearts of Palm w/ Black Pepper Croutons
-- Texas Slow Smoked Brisket
-- Dublin BBQ Sauce and Miniature Kaiser Rolls
-- Truffled Mac and Cheese Bar
-- Chopped Tomatoes, Apple Smoked Bacon, Bourbon Ham
-- Pastry Desserts
-- Mini Moon Pies, Texas Blueberry Pies, Apple Empanadas, and Blueberry Caramels
-- Warm Texas Peach Cobbler w/ Mascarpone Whipped Cream
And of course, there's a fridge stocked with beer, wine, and soda. Sounds pretty perfect to me! The only thing I would change is that awkward "Winter Fruit Presentation." Sub in some Fritos and bean dip and I'd be one fat, happy girl.
