This week there's so much holiday hustle and bustle that you probably don't have much time to think about dinner. That's why this recipe for Crock Pot Roast Beef is so brilliant -- you just throw a few ingredients into the slow cooker, and eight hours later, you have a hearty meal. There's only one pot to clean, and you can spend your time shopping and wrapping presents instead of cooking.
Serve with roasted potatoes and a green salad. Or slice thin for sandwiches with crusty bread and melted Swiss cheese over top.
Crock Pot Roast Beef from Use Real Butter
- 3-5 lb chuck roast
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
Combine ingredients in crock pot. Cook on high for 8 hours.
